Which school should I pick for biology?

I applied to these schools as a transfer student:

-Northeastern University
-RIT
-RPI
-Syracuse University
-UMass Amherst

My dream plan would be to double major or dual major in Biology and Animation (or Fine Art or Computer Science if animation is a concentration). I plan to eventually go to grad school, and focus on ecology and research on the biology side of my degree.

I’m trying to figure out how strong are the biology programs are in each of the schools listed compared to each other. Another thing I’d love would be opportunities to work with other students in my field in either a co-op or undergrad research, and interesting classes.

I’m waiting to hear back from these schools for whether I got accepted or not, but I’d like to hear people’s opinions for ideas to help me with deciding which school to pick if I get accepted to multiple schools on my list.

Undergrad programs are not usually formally ranked. Best thing to do would be to visit or contact alumni.

Undergraduate biology is the same everywhere.

Research opportunities are good to look into, but it’s unlikely that anyone here is familiar with any one school, and certainly not multiple schools. You’ll probably get better information if you inquire in the specific sub-forum for each of those schools and compare the answers.
