Which schools are truly need blind?

Andover speaks of a need-blind initiative. Does anyone have any insight as to whether the admissions process is truly ned blind?

Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not a FA application will likely impact an admissions decision at
Exeter, St. Paul’s, Lawrenceville, Deerfield, and similar schools which do not speak of a need blind initiative?

Andover is the only need blind school. FA does reduce the chances for admission, if even by a little bit. The schools you listed have generous FA programs, but if two similar applicants applied, one needing FA and one FP, they of course will select the FP student. Andover selects the people they accept, and then give FA accordingly.
