Which schools for premed?

What schools with great reputations have no limits on the amount of As they can give out? Where is the best acceptance rate to medical schools, Thanks

That could be any school......MIT starts out PassFail and that sounds pretty much a match for what you are asking. NO grade.

not necessarily easy, but I heard that John Hopkins will give only 10% of the class As and now Princeton is following.

great preparation......doesn't give grades to first year.

Not exactly. MIT records all your grades, every year. However, on your external transcript, MIT will report only a grade of P (pass) in your first semester, and only grades of A, B, or C in your second semester. Grades lower than a C in your first year will not be recorded at all. But not that if you get a C in the second semester of your first year, your grade will be reported on your external transcript.

Furthermore, some medical schools demand the right to violate the MIT hidden-grade policy by demanding to see your internal transcript which contains ALL your grades. Hence, the 'shield' of hidden grades has been effectively pierced.

"Please note, that grades for courses taken under pass/no record during freshman year are important to a few medical schools. Although not common among the majority of medical schools, Johns Hopkins University does request to see your freshman hidden grades."
