Hey everyone! I’m a deferred EA applicant here. I retook the SATs and took the ACTs for my first time in December. I got my ACT writing score back today, and it’s not good. It’s a 24. I know that with the redesigned ACT Writing section the scores are much lower than expected, but I wanted to get a feel from the community about these scores. I only took the ACTs because I was interested to see if I could score better, so I’m not very clear about converting scores.
My ACT Composite is a 34, with a 35 English, 36 Math, 32 Reading, 33 Science, and 24 Writing.
My SATs on the other hand, are 650 CR, 780 M, and 800 W with a 10 essay.
If I did it right my ACT Composite comes out to be a 1510 CR+M converted SAT score, which is higher than my SAT CR+M of 1430. Is it worth sending both? Or, should I just send one of them?
Thank you all in advance. This community has helped me immensely.
