I'm headed towards becoming a bio major, but if I do that, I'm thinking of minoring in statistics. My other option is majoring in economics, since I find the subject interesting. But if I switch to econ, I might have to spend an extra semester at the university.

In terms of finding a job after graduation, which one is better? And is it worth spending an extra semester if I decide to major in econ, or should I just stick with bio major-stat minor?

any help appreciated, thank you
