<p>You don’t get a call from the internship office, you get a call from someone in the department that’s interviewing you. Some people get ambush calls and I’m sure they’ll leave a message, but more common is to get an email to schedule a time for a phone interview. Hope this helps!</p>
<p>jcarlino - if you can’t get an extension on your two day time frame, i’m sure you realize that you are choosing between (1) an internship, and (2) maybe an internship. There is only one right answer.</p>
<p>However, you could also accept the later offer from the WH if it comes, and tell the first people you are no longer interested. Obviously the first people would not like this, so if you think that is somewhere you might want to start your career, you should probably not back out after accepting.</p>

<p>I just received another still processing email. This is so strange and I don’t think this has happened before. I don’t think its an accidental duplicate because the first processing email was sent out weeks ago (Mar. 4th). I do appreciate them keeping me informed :-). I don’t expect final decisions until the first week of April…on a Friday.</p>
