Applying RD, Class of 2018!

Good luck everyone!!!

Dartmouth is a damn fine school. Would be pleased to go there.

EEK!!! My first post!!

Will also be applying to Dartmouth, Class of 2018!!
Dunno whether to apply ED or RD…

If you’re not applying ED, what school are you eding to?

Apply ED Class of 2018!

Any Advice?!?!

Wow. It has been a decade since the first post. I am applying ED!!! 2013 baby!

I’m applying ED! Honestly, Dartmouth is the BEST fit for me.

Does anyone know the average SAT subject test score? I’m assuming its somewhere in the 750 to 800 range, right?

Best wishes!

Thanks, I’ve seen that page, but I was hoping someone knew where to find Subject test score ranges (like Math level 2, languages, bio, chem, physics, etc.)

Dartmouth is my first choice. But I can’t apply ED (can’t get the materials in time), so will have to rely on RD

I’m a current Dartmouth student who can give you an honest opinion of what goes on here, what admissions officers are really looking for (this is more from like, stuff my buddies in the admissions office have told me), differences between Dartmouth and other ivies, on campus recruiting, social scene, athletics, etc. Feel free to PM me! And best of luck!

I think that you are a transfer student. What are you studying right now?
I applied to Dartmouth ED. Please tell me “what admissions officers are really looking for”
I am looking forward to hear from you.

Just sent off my application!

I only ever took 2 subject tests (Lit-730; US-710). At the time, I wasn’t as prepared as I should have been, as I didn’t think the subject tests would be as important as they seem to be. My AP scores in these subjects (both 5’s) and my grades in the classes (all A’s) reflect more positively on me/my knowledge of these subjects. I’ve skirted using the subject tests at other high caliber schools, relying instead on my 34 ACT.

Do you think these are low enough to be a problem? I know, of course, that so many other factors come into play, but from a purely score-related standpoint, are subject tests below a certain threshold frowned upon?

It’s been difficult to find statistics about the subject tests.

Does Dartmouth require 2 subject tests?

@Living61 YES!!

I’m applying! ED!
Here are my basic stats, can you tell me if they are good?
