<p>I am curious to see which colleges and universities students at BYU turned down for BYU. I just finished reading another thread where people dismissed BYU’s high yield rate since the students are Mormons and didn’t apply anywhere else. I don’t think this is true. So everyone, where else were you accepted but declined in order to attend BYU?</p>
<p>Turned down Barrett’s Honor College at ASU as a National Merit Scholar for BYU</p>
<p>My daughter has not finalized her choice but is leaning BYU. She was accepted to OU, and Tulane. She is also a National Merit Finalist.</p>

<p>I know that someone that turned down Harvard for BYU… </p>
<p>For me, I’ll only turn down my other schools for BYU (which I’m actually hoping won’t happen…) if I can’t get extra scholarship money.</p>
<p>I knew there would be some good schools. BYU gets dismissed on here as just a school for Mormons. And Mormons get dismissed on here as well in the section for Christian schools.</p>
