Who didn't like Middle School/Junior High?

We need a thread to share all of our crappy middle school/junior high school experiences.

I consider my middle school experience to be three years of busy work and BS. I'll share a specific experience that is funny and sad at the same time later, but I must actually do work now :).

I enjoyed most of middle school.

I hated it. Being the lower middle class student in the rich town… Not fun.

Its kind of fun. I like school usually. I think it depends on if you get a cool teacher. Some teachers make classes boring and some are so fun that i wish i could have the class all day.

I actually liked middle school way more than I like high school. Good times.

I dislike high school, but I hated middle school

Here here.

For me, take out middle. Though the middle was there during middle school, actually. Anyway, I don’t really mind it, but a lot of people are materialistic. I guess that’s everywhere, though.

Middle school; not the best time of my life. 90% of my teachers bluntly hated me and the rest never taught me anything that would of really helped in Honors classes freshman year. The school was so bad my better teachers recommended that the rest of my family should go to another school (if the school was even open now). Thankfully I skipped 7th grade, so I was only there for 6th and 8th.

Middle school is easy but insanely BORING.

And they started agenda checks now.

The fact that I’m 1/2 freshman doesn’t make me immune to them. :(

1 go-to line of middle school teachers: “You have to do this, to prepare you for high school.”

Usually false.

Oh, and my middle school was a prison, with only one entrance, through the office, manned by several people. There was a door right in front of the office that could only be opened from inside the school. This was worse than my high school being directly next to a jail.

Middle school was not fun when it came to classes. Lots of useless projects and mindless work. But I do have some funny memories from middle school. It’s such an awkward phase for most so it’s humorous to look back at it.

I liked the busywork in middle school because it rarely involved annoying long term projects, unlike elementary school.l

I loved middle school, for the reasons of cool people and recess, man!

Hated it.
Middle school didn’t prepare me for high school in the slightest.
Academically, it was a waste and could get away with making Cs.
Socially, very very very enriching.

Now my HS life is the inverse.

Hated it all.

7th grade memphis and 8th grade va were acceptable years. great teachers. No recess.

Never liked it. I was always the short/fat kid.

High school is a lot better because now I’m neither short, nor fat. :D

^Aww, sad. Good to hear the story has a happy ending. :)

MEEEEEEEEEEE. Everybody was really mean and obnoxious in middle school. High schoolers, such as myself, are so much more sophisticated and mature.

7th grade was my worst year of my LIFE. Thanks to this boy who completely shattered my life no lie. If I was offered a million dollars to relive that year, I WOULDNT DO IT :)

Middle school had too many mean, immature kids. High school is great with so many more extracurriculars and nice, mature people.
