<p>i got it yesterday, read half of it, fell in love with yale, then immediately died because i knew how impossible it was to get in.</p>
<p>What is with the asterisk on the front cover? I get that it corresponds to the “A Guide to Yale College” at the bottom but why is the asterisk even there?</p>
<p>They like doing the asterisk. I have a friend that was accepted/is attending Yale this coming fall, and they gave her a free t-shirt that said Yale* in huge letters on the front, and in the back it said *2014.</p>

<p>^^ yeah that’s it. I was surprised that I got one b/c I have never expressed interest in Yale, so it must be based on PSAT scores.</p>
<p>dont worry too much if you dont get it. just marketing. not saying that i didnt like getting it though… 
I think it might be the SAT, not PSAT though</p>
<p>I got the blue book too! Made me super excited until I realised that I’m really not that special in getting it. Sigh.</p>

<p>lol me too! I was like im not gonna read any of the viewbooks colleges send me until I know where i actually have the choice to go to but of course, I read it. it was pretty cute.</p>
<p>I got both the Yale book and the Harvard app. Getting these things is actually making me feel like I’m going to be leaving home soon. I can’t wait to go to college!!!</p>
