Dear Applicant ,

Admission decisions will not be made until early April for transfer students who applied to a major for which there is an SDSU-approved Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T/AS-T degree). For a list of majors, please visit the SDSU’s Associate Degree for Transfer website.

Transfer applicants to these majors who have completed or are in progress to complete an Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T/AS-T) degree were asked to verify, prior to admission decisions being made in April, that they are on track to earn or have earned this degree to receive priority consideration.

If you have questions about the verification process, contact the Transfer Center at your community college. You will be notified of an admission decision in early April.

@nannl0ve Unfortunately I seriously think my GPA effected my app. I have a 2.93, I got a C in the first part of O-chem last semester (I am not good at chemistry whatsoever :/) But by the end of this semester I will have completed all the bio, Principles, Botany, and Zoology. I also have all my GE done from some credits at CSUS and my cc, and I will fulfill IGETC by the end of this semester. The only other schools I applied to are UCs so I’m kind of freaking out now…

@nrcl123 did you check assist.org to see what prereqs you needed? Or did they tell you why you were denied? I thought I had every class I needed for my major prereq but when I checked assist.org I realized I was missing one class. Very upset at my counselor for not doing his job correctly but I’m getting an AS-T also so I’m hoping that helps me. It gives me a .10 bump in gpa and is suppose to give some priority.

@nannl0ve Yes I checked assist, it could be that I don’t have my physics done but I was told if I just did a regular application that I wouldn’t be bound to have all those completed, that’s for TAGing. But that could’ve swayed their decision too. It’s hard to figure things out and understand all the different tricks and loopholes if the counselors aren’t good. 99% of my school’s counselors are unhelpful. I hope you get in though! Sounds like the AS-T will be very beneficial.

@brizzzy19 I did. It’s making me super anxious!

Hey everyone, guess what? I got denied to SDSU as an AA-T transfer student with a 4.0 GPA. My major is Psychology. Everything I have worked towards suddenly came crashing down around me in one day.

Oh no! @kbutterwo do you know why?
