I would hate to be someone from a city where they don’t speak corect english. Some of the words I hear are really funny. Like “yo” and “youz”. Example: Yo bro who dat u be wid. Whuch youz’s all be doin tonight.
Is there such thing as proper English anymore? Oh. and no discrimination. This is the way white people talk in the city.

Yes. And you incorrectly used “anymore” according to it. :)

^^haha, how so?

lolll i love this thread

Why would the people hand-scoring the test make a difference? All that matters is the final result. :)

DMOC, they’re misinterpreting it as the actual scoring of the exam.

Ok so, my rudimentary formal english skills tells me that the sentence should be:

“I completed every answer perfectly on the SAT.”

Now, perfectly is modifying “completed” so it should be right…

@Silverturtle:

So would this sentence fix the error? “Is there any such thing as proper English anymore?”

How about:

I earned a score of 2400 on the SAT.

You don’t ‘import’ a style. Obviously there is an error in diction.

^^ @ kevmschmid

Even better: I earned a perfect score of 2400 on the SAT
