<p>My daughter was just accepted ED at UM and I would observe that collecting numbers for the purposes of comparison is a waste of everyone's time. Each applicant is unique, each context is unique. It's up to you to put your best foot forward so to speak. My daughter attends a very competitive academic high school that does not rank so all of this weighted unweighted stuff is completely meaningless. Class rank is equally meaningless in a school where every student would be in the top 10% of a public high school. The admissions folks at UM are well versed in these matters so have confidence in your own candidacy and move forward with that. Good luck.</p>
