Who Here Is Currently In Law School

please tell me your current experience as well as your likes/don't likes about it since I'm highly considering law school in the future....

so far I heard from someone in another website that it's basically like 'a lawyer in training' instead of a "student learning" !!!

is it that bad?

thank you..

Not in law school -- been there, done that. Law School is a process. There is certainly content that must be mastered, if for no other reason than to be able to pass the bar exam and ply your trade. But, the more important aspect of law school is teaching you how to use the tools of the trade: logical thinking and analysis of legal problems, with a little bit of legal researching skills thrown in.

In the words of my wife (an educator), law school skills most importantly give you the skill to "generalize" the sepcific knowledge to an new and different fact pattern.

I'm a law student (1L).

And we all feel for you AA.

sorry, this has probably been asked and answered, but where do you go to law school, Ariesathena?

Asked but perhaps not answered - in the mid-Atlantic at a top 25 school. That's about as specific as I really want to get.
