"Who interested you in Brown"

For the above questions… is putting Seth and Summer a bad idea? lol

No seriously, though, what if you just read the brown publications and really liked the school?

i was wondering the same thing. also, should this be written out, or would "guidance counselor" or "alumni", etc. suffice?

I wrote a small paragraph. Don't stress too much over it, but don't fail to put any thought into it at all.

5-7 sentences is PLENTY

Btw, as an answer to the OP

I think Seth and Summer are GREAT choices!!! ;-)

I will have to write that it was me...before I came across Brown myself, the only reference I had was Lisa Simpson saying "No, Brown no, not Brown". I really thought it was some extremely bad college somewhere in the USA.

Wait, so it's BAD to talk about The OC? But Summer is soooo my role model! I want to be just like her!

Heh...hearing this should have made me put that as a satire.

But seriously, when I did mine, I said that no single person influenced me in particular, but an influence of people and other factors.

haha, the simpsons reference isn't as bad a the family guy one. Brian says he went to Brown, and this New Yorker guy says something like "I think my gay uncle's retarded niece went to Brown"

Well... Summer and Seth are my fashion idols... (I don't even know if I'm lying about that one... =\ )!!!

But I put something about how I met a girl who just started gushing about it at a summer program 2 years ago and we kept in touch and i got so interested I had to go visit.

Wow, I only wrote one sentence. "My AP English Literature teacher recommended Brown University to me..." (the end.)

i knew of a girl who put seth for her answer. she got rejected. don't do it.

i don't think how you answer this question will make any big difference on your admission result.

yeah, I think its just for info. Nothing serious, unless you write something really dumb.

i put "the perfect score" :)

hahaha at the family guy reference. i'll put that.

jk.

I got a laugh out of the family guy reference as well, but I wouldn't use it. Is there a word limit, however, for your responce? I mean I wrote around 2000 words about this Brown alumni who opened my eyes to the college, but is this too much. Its very consise at the moment.

Thank you.

You did? Gosh you're lucky, I want one too

there's a 500 char limit for it

Lol, I've learned about Brown from "The Simpsons" too and Vassar!

there is no way you can possibly fit 2000 words, more like 100 words max

So my one was just a single line...

Is that horrible?
