I'm interested in who students think is the most strict/ legendary/ famous professor on the Wake Forest campus.

Well, the most famous professor is probably Maya Angelou. [Maya Angelou - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Maya Angelou - Wikipedia)

The most legendary/famous is probably Maya Angelou. The most strict/best professor overall definitely varies by what your major is; it’s hard to compare them!

Thank you! Are you students at Wake?

Does she still teach/ what does she teach? I can’t find any courses on the Wake website.

“Thank you! Are you students at Wake?”

Yes :)

“Does she still teach/ what does she teach? I can’t find any courses on the Wake website.”

I believe she still teaches an advanced poetry class. It is extremely difficult to get into, though. I’m not much of a poet so I never looked into it.

I know Maya Angelou is not teaching this year…I think she taught a course last year? She’s not very active simply because she’s rly old, but she does occasionally teach a course.

There’s certainly plenty of other distinguished professors in their fields although I’d say Angelou is the most famous. The dean of the biz school is the former Pepsi CEO

I’ve never had Maya Angelou, but the ratings people have left about her on ratemyprofessor.com are outright scathing…

Anyway, I think the “best” professor is pretty individual. Hard to say.
