I live in Maine and I was flabbergasted today when a letter just didn't arrive?
Anyone in my neck of the woods heard back?

I'm also in Maine, and no, I haven't received notice. My bro got his acceptance to a different school today. Ahh, now to wait it out till Monday.

I live in NH and will be dissapointed if I don't get it in the mail today.

I'm on the coast in Massachusetts, about a 3 hour drive from Williamstown, and I didn't hear today. I was so disappointed!

Well, I guess I won't be getting it today either then. They said the 15h... I'm considering my early decision contract void :P

^ hahahah

Cool idea. On the ED agreement no notification date is mentioned though, unfortunately :p

Even if it were, Williams is too great a school to be turned down for such paltry issues.

Best of luck!

well thats a relief. im not the only one. i heard the mail man outside and there was nothing in the box. it mustve been the storm that slowed it all down. waiting until monday just drags out this suspense. all the kids in my town have heard.

Does that mean I, on the west coast, will have to wait till Tuesday? I sure hope not!

i knoww.. im on the way west coast too and i really just want to knowww.... hardest test of my patience EVER.

i live in NY, and we got them today. the envelope is thin, so don't worry if that's what you get.

so doctor, is the acceptance letter in a standard 3 x 8 envelope?

It's a little disconcerting that everyone who has received word already has been accepted :/ .

yep. it has the williams logo in the top-left corner. besides that its very plain.

Is there a difference between accepted/rejected envelopes. Is the accepted that much thicker?

the accepted only includes a brief letter and a deposit envelope, so i wouldn't imagine much difference in thickness. i will say this: the deposit envelope i received had some hand-done corrections, meaning it is possible that they ran out of good envelopes by the time they got to me. the more likely scenario is that all envelopes are like that, though.

Has anyone (besides international students) gotten a rejection letter? I'm worried that they sent them out in waves, and the rejections might be a day later.

well, it's Monday, and I still haven't received notice. (Maine)
