Sorry if this is in the FAQ. I read through it quickly and didn't see it.

Is there a general listing that shows which colleges require SAT Subject tests? Are they mainly just for Ivy League schools? My son will be attending a Texas state school (not sure which one yet).

This list may be a bit old but here it goes: [Compass: Admissions Requirements](<a href=“SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations”>SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations)

The only TX state school on the list is UT Austin, and it says only the Math test is required for the engineering students.

Now, some colleges do grant credit based on Subject Test scores. UT’s is here: [SAT Cut Scores](http://www.utexas.edu/academic/mec/cbe/cutsat.html).
