<p>I applied RD a few days before the scholarship deadline, not all the criteria were checked off by the 1st but i got everything out by it. i had to rush to send them an art portfolio, i hope the cd reads, i dont even think i double checked it. :D</p>

<p>no, though it can help if you aren't one of the strongest applicants in terms of academics and if you can appear like the kind of student they typically enroll, yet unique enough that you'd bring something new to the campus.</p>

<p>Im probably gonna end up submitting at the last minute.
I'd love to attend UR but I'm not quite sure of their engineering programme - I've been getting mixed reviews.
Im so nervous because I'm not exactly a strong applicant. Plus, I'm intel so that won't help much lol</p>

<p>I applied RD too. However, I didn't pay until the Monday after the scholarship deadline (Friday, Dec. 1). Do you think I can still be considered for scholarships since my actual application and the other materierals were on time? I didn't receive any confirmation from them about my application.</p>

<p>There was absolutely no way I could express my "Why UR" statement in that little box - when I read over it, it seemed so empty and so cold... I ended up writing a short Why UR essay in the additional section. I hope that doesnt hurt me...</p>
