Who's going to Decision UC Davis

Thanks for the link, but apparently I am not authorized to view very much of it.

I'm not that concerned about tours, since the plan is for him to meet some friends who are freshmen there and get shown around and stay overnight in the dorm.

Will any of the administrative offices be open to get info or ask questions about majors and the honors program?

Once they have the schedule available to view the list of departments and offices hosting an exhibit will be available for review. Usually, the Colleges host information tables as well as Undergraduate Admissions. I'd like to say that almost all departments, if not all of them, will be hosting some sort of exhibit or information table.

Ill go if i get admitted...!!

ashy, they reported admissions a while ago

^ most transfer decisions are not out yet...

...unfortunately.

So we might not get to attend.

I'll find out on the 26ths, berkeley decisions.

I'm going April 17!

what's the difference between this and preview day last fall?

saviorknights, I looked at the schedule and it looks to be pretty much the same. Campus tours, housing tours, finaid advisors, etc. EXCEPT - I did get an email from the CoE telling me that they are holding an engineering-specific event with a major fair, available advisors, and facility tours.

i went to open house in the fall and the whole thing was allright... the dorms were the nicest i seen and the food looked hecka good...

im not going on the 4th to Decsion day since im heading down to UCSD but im coming to Davis on Picnic Day since it is supposed to be the funnest day...

blah idk what school to go to?!?! ucsd, ucd, uci, ucsc ahhhhh

I'm going on the 17th. And I'm with TNEsaid, hard decision to make, trying to decide where to go next year. I'm deciding between UCD and UCSD. Still can't figure out what one yet though.

@katie09

gah! same here UCD and UCSD complete opposites(literally and geographically) and its so hard to pick! which one are you leaning towards???

im only considering ucsc since i have a full ride there but....nah

Well... originally i was leaning toward ucsd, but now its looking more like ucd ha ha. im so all over the place and i hate making decisions! i'm gonna wait until i attend admit day or whatever on april 17th to send in my sir. but right now i'm leaning toward davis. davis is much closer to home for me (about an hour and a half away, while san diego is about a 12 hour drive) and i feel like davis has more of a typical "college" atmosphere that i want. also, i live in a college town and i really like that. davis is a small town, but its pretty and i figure sac is really close for whenever i get bored with davis haha.

^saaame! I'm stuck between Davis and SD, but I'm visiting them both in April so hopefully being on the actual campuses will help me make a clear decision. I'm appealing to LA though...but I have no hope for that anymore soo yeah. I'm actually considering Davis more because of the more down-to-earth atmosphere, since I plan on going the pre-med route and SD can be...yeah. :p

Actually, scrap what I said earlier. Turns out spring break for me is on the week of Decision UC Davis. So I'll be heading out to UCD on the 17th and most likely stay for the 18th(Picnic Day), yay :)

I was planning on going, but I’ve already decided what college I’ll be attending so I’m no longer visiting. Maybe Picnic Day? I’ve heard it’s very fun.
