Whos staying up tonight?

LOL, I’m watching old episodes of The Apprentice on YouTube to kill time.

lol whenever i workout past 10, I can’t fall asleep until like 2:30-3 AM and shortly after I read that you shouldn’t really exercise that much before you are about to go to bed because your body is in active mode. sucks cuz sometimes my friend that I lift with doesn’t get off work till 9:30-10ish and then we lift on a school night and I can’t fall asleep until like 2.

meatheads ftw!

lol this was a random post in the ACT section

hey everyone, as time approaches i would like to reinforce the fact that something as menial as the ACT does not determine your success in life, and if you score less than what you expect, it does not mean the end of the world. that being said, best of luck to you all.

I didn’t take it this time. But I am still staying up to see how everyone did lol.

@akvk66: Thank you for the wise words.

Good luck, everyone.

30 min and counting!

Hey silverturtle, since you already have a 2400, how much do you want for your 36? ;)

What are your extracurriculars? I might want a few of them.

Does anyone have a hook or some 800s on SATIIs up for grabs? I can offer some SATI scores or extracurriculars.

im mexican and from Idaho^^^ there could be some trading possibilities

The CC black market. Admissions officers won’t know what hit them.

haha this will jack up the chances forum

Here is an interesting question for you,

I am a rising sophomore who took the ACT this past June. What score should I be looking for if I want to attend an Ivy League school?

So random question for you silverturtle, while you’re here. My school only ranks by decile. Really, we have no idea where we are ranked outside of “top 10%” “bottom 10%” etc. Apart from the valedictorian, nobody ever finds out their rank. This didn’t seem too bad until I tried out CC’s “Academix Index Calculator” and found that when I changed from rank to decile, my “AI” dropped from an 8/9 to a 5/6.

So the bottom line is: why is this? Do colleges really view students who aren’t ranked exactly any differently? I mean, I’m obviously in the top 10%, but I can’t prove to them whether I’m #5 or #40.

/end tangent, apologies to you ACT waiters

19 minutes. urghhh.
Trying to pass the time. Played Red Dead Redemption for the last 2 hours and got anxious.

arggghhh imma bout to go crazy im sooooo nervous

Jamezz93,

Colleges will not assume that you are barely in the top 10%. They will attempt to get a better idea of where you stack up by comparing your GPA and courseload to fellow and past applicants’, just as they would for students whose schools do not rank.

15 minutes now!! Trying not to get my hopes up too high!!

15 Minutes! :D
