<p>i have to edit EVERYTHING today. and write one princeton essay. oh yeah, **** the hopkins 10 dollar essay. they can eat me if they reject me for not doing it.</p>
<p>I'm writing the 10 dollar essay now... but I'm taking my main essay/personal statement from Brown and Common App and just modifying it to fit, mostly. I'll do the same with Penn's pg 217 essay.</p>
<p>For the Brown essay: How good is it to recycle other essays for that one? It seems pretty open, but most of my other essays are about experiences I've had. They reveal stuff about my personality, but it isn't STRICTLY related to the topic.</p>
<p>Still, the topic's so open-ended that, if I had to write another essay for it, I'd be really worried about it being too vague.</p>
<p>Just FYI for non-Brown applicants, the essay question is:
"In reading your application, we want to get to know you as well as we can. We ask that you use this opportunity to tell us something more about yourself that would help us toward a sense of who you are, how you think, and what issues and ideas interest you most."</p>
<p>it seems to me like Brown is just asking for a recycled essay ahahah.</p>
<p>I think that most peoples' common app essay can easily be used for Brown.</p>

<p>As for procrastination, it is absolutely essential for me. I can't get any work done if I don't have a gun to my head. I knew coming in that I would be taking it down to the wire so I'm doing fine know. My goal now is to get every app sent in the day before it's due.</p>

<p>Pff, I've done 6 in the last 3 days. The weird part is, it's some of my best work ever. And who says to "give time to edit and rewrite your college essays"?</p>
<p>i submitted tufts today!! actually i haven't submitted the common app for that yet... but it's done already :)... i only have the jhu $10 and the why brown.... and then editing! yeah it makes me so mad the people who are like i turned it in 2 weeks ago! when did they find the time??</p>
