I know some schools write WELCOME in huge font on their acceptance letters that come in regular mail...so their really isnt any mystery..........and yes most schools do send rejection letters in small envolopes......stanford sends out the emails on Dec.14th

It'll probably be the 14th. Like all good colleges, when they say 5pm, expect 5:15 ish. Last year it was exactly 12 minutes late (I was refreshing the page every 2 secs for an hour before that XD) for Stanford and about 17 minutes late for Harvard, and 20 minutes late for Columbia. And they send out everything, accpet or reject, in 1 batch. Good luck to you all!

I called them today for confirmation on something else, and the recording said that they will be released "mid-afternoon on Friday, December 14." The recording said not to call regarding decisions because they won't be released over the phone. They must've been busy, because my GC & I were on hold for almost an hour.

wow now that its less than 24 hours away, i can't bare the thought of waiting another 3-4 days for the mail.
I was so sure i would wait for the mail and now a day before and i feel like changing my mind. Why am i so compelled to only check the post mail? I don't even know anymore...

I might disconnect internet modem and give it to my sister to hide until monday so i won't be tempted to check my e-mail.
