belle, then pocahontis (butchered it) even though she was not necessarily a princess but the chieftain’s daughter

Lol. Same difference. But yes, that’s what I mean.

I was going to say Anastasia, but then I realized the eponymous movie was not owned by Disney :(

so I’m going to say Mulan or Jasmine!

^I used to freaking love Anastasia when I was little. She was my favorite, by far.

But she’s far too awesome to be part of anything Disney churns put.

I love Snow White…she has been my favorite forever. I tried to get myself to love Belle more, because she is so freaking awesome, but I couldn’t do it. Snow White and Belle are great, and I also really really love Mulan. She was one of the few princesses (sort of almost princess) who actually chose her own life.

While I enjoyed Tiana, she’s only a near great in my book because her movie left much to be desired. Pocohantas is my favorite “princess” and mulan is my favorite heroine :)

Wikipedia begs to differ on the mulan note: [Disney Princess - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](<a href=“Disney Princess - Wikipedia”>Disney Princess - Wikipedia)

Too lazy to check actual site.

Mulan is my absolute favorite.

Mulan! God, that girl kicks some serious butt!

I just didn’t work out how Pochohontas fell for John Smith… they just sort of ran around…

How can you not fall for a guy who paints colors in the wind with you?

HAHAHAHA!

For what it’s worth, I DO love that song!

Mulan, plain and simple.

She’s Asian

She kicks ass.

Yesss! I love her!

And she’s sooo pretty!

Yesss! I love her!

And she’s sooo pretty!

Mulan [because she kicks ass]

Esmerelda [dude…]

Belle [because she’s really smart and clever]

Megara [very resourceful, opinionated and independent]

Pocahontas [because she also kicks ass, but more with her words/by being bold]

Tiana [she’s cool, and i’m from new orleans so that makes her extra cool]

Jasmine [she’s feisty]

Ariel [ditto]

Snow White [she’s sweet]

yeah, aurora and cinderella aren’t great role models… and aurora hardly gets any screen time that doesn’t involve warbling to woodland creatures, which i think is indicative of a mental instability, personally

“can you paint the colors of the wind” by Pocahontas used to be my favorite song when I was a kid.

I owned it on a VCR tape called “disney sing along songs” so they’d have the clip/video with the words underneath I also used to have a fad for Pochantas because My bed sheets were of Pochahontas and the characters in the movie, I had the Pochantas doll and everything! lol.

cinderella
:D

as do you.

Moodrets: Well, Wikipedia isn’t always referred to as a good source. Mulan’s parents weren’t royalty, were they? And Shang was captain of an army. Therefore, how can Mulan be a princess. I see her more as a Disney heroine, not a princess. Maybe I’m overanalyzing this, haha.
