S took the test today and called me at 12:25 for pickup! Not 1:00 as advertised on the ticket.

And he said it was "ok" which I think really means okay! Said he felt pressured for time but finished everything, except he could have put a lengthier conclusion on the essay. Whatever...he's not planning to be an English major!

So I hope we're done and done with the tests, except for a couple of SAT IIs if they are necessary for whichever the heck schools he decides to apply to.

mommusic, Glad your son did "ok" with the ACT! My son was fairly freaked out when he called me right after. But I told him many others had trouble with the science section, as he did, so he felt a bit better, and he's ready to tackle it again next time.

How they felt right after a test seems to be a very good indicator as how they did with the test. Our DS came home and said, "I felt very comfortable and the questions seem very straight forward. ". He was right on - a 99%.
