Why Business (@Wharton)?

This is probably a really stupid question. What kind of jobs can you possibly get after doing an undergrad in business (at Wharton if possible)?

I was led to believe that MBA is always far more valuable than any business major, and its far more useful to get some "technical" proficiency in sciences. Doesn't a business major leave you with much to be desired in terms of specialization when you're looking to enter the workforce?

a wharton degree gives you a head start. a lot of people can go from wharton to wall street and not find it necessary to get an MBA later. internal training allows for sufficient professional development.

That being said, and while I think it is a valid way to go about doing things, I chose the liberal arts now, then work a bit, then MBA later. it's more fulfilling for me. Of course, your mileage may vary.
