I would only send something to an adult with a long posting history.

Why? So you get advice/edits from an experienced poster, so another student won’t he tempted to copy your essay…
While I understand your sentiment, I have no intention of copying the supplement or essay as I have already been admitted. There’s no ill intent; I only wanted to help because I know how stressful the application process can be, and I’d be willing to help someone in the same position I was in a few months ago.
Yeah, avoid sending to a student. Why? This may or may not be true for watercolours but even students with the best intentions are generally not in a great position to know what schools actually look for. I often hear grad students providing undergrads with advice that I know is simply flat out wrong. So another student a couple of years ahead is more likely to provide erroneous advice than someone in the field of education, for example.
