Why did you say yes to GS?

I was admitted into GS for the fall semester and the news is bittersweet. After being rejected last fall, I enrolled at Baruch College and achieved success there. I am a year away from graduation and I have plans to further my education with graduate study. I am trying to determine whether it's worth transferring. I am already older than the average student, I have a family, and I have already put several dreams on hold. I think it goes without saying that being a GS alumna has several benefits, however, I feel that I would have the same graduate school options if I decided to graduate from Baruch. I am wondering if there are any posters who were in similar situations and can share why they decided to attend GS. Thanks.

I said no because I did not want to attend an institution with such a large student body. I also did not like the lack of guaranteed housing, and that I probably would have had to share an apartment. I also was not a fan of the core curriculum taking up so much of my time.

Thank you for your response. I am leaning towards not attending, however, I am going to wait until I receive my financial aid award before I make my final decision.
