Why didn't I get in??

<p>About 30% of every graduating class at my school ends up at Tech. THEY are what put me off. It sounds like going there is like living school spirit week for four years, everyone is such a nut about it, and it’s not that great of a school. I get the vibe that it’s very conservative and redneck. </p>

<p>I don’t go to either of these schools, but from who I know and what I’ve heard, William and Mary has the most down to Earth student body of the top VA schools. </p>

<p>It was definitely the OOS and not taking SAT II tests. The “strongly recommended” means “submit scores from these or else…”
Don’t kick yourself! UVA is extremely selected especially for OOS and you have an impressive set of stats! You will be happy wherever you choose to go! best wishes xx</p>
