Why do colleges host naked events ?

Back in the day, the entrance fee to the LCB (Lascivious Costume Ball) was full charge if fully clothed, half off for costume and free for those free of clothing. There was a wet t-shirt contest which the girls had to be cajoled into entering and unshirting at, while the mens equivalent had boys lined up and they couldn’t take their shorts off fast enough…

^ Two of my brothers went to the U of C and I find this hilarious. (Although, I’m sure they were not in line.)

The LCB didn’t happen for a few years, from what I understand, but it has been revived in the past year or two. IIRC, it happens in February, so there is also the frostbite factor to worry about! :slight_smile:
(and they say that fun goes to die at Chicago…)

@mnopqrnj …really?

Had that happened when I toured it in the summer of 2010, I dont know if my son would be a member of its current freshman class! And if I find out my son does it in 2011, he may not be a graduating member of the Class of 2015–despite their 90% percent graduation rate. ;-)

I will however establish a memorial scholarship in his name.

Seriously folks…when you are young and stupid and beautiful…thats the time to be young and stupid and show off your beauty.

Just dont tell your moms.

“some bending over and climbing.”

-- too much information :)

How about the flashers ?

Young, stupid & beautiful was so much better before surfing the net. At one time you could laugh at what you were like back then. Now your kids may actually SEE it. Not so much fun.

“Young, stupid & beautiful was so much better before surfing the net.”

My nominee for best CC quote ever!
