I wouldn't necessarily say they prefer tall women, because men prefer different things and it's really subjective; it's more like men prefer women around average. (which was previously discussed)</p>

<p>I would never date a guy shorter than me, to be honest. I'm 5'1" so if he was shorter than me, he'd by like a midget...most women want men taller than them, or at least the same height. I guess some women don't mind dater guys shorter than them, but they're a minority. </p>

I can't imagine trying to sit on his lap and crushing his smaller body under my weight lol :D or looking down on him when he talks, especially when I wear heels...sorry, but if he's shorter than me, then he's 5 feet and under, and that's just one wee man. Sorry, those are just the rules of attraction. Most women want men their height or taller, because that's attractive. </p>

<p>Klockan, I sincerely hope you are not likening guy's height to girls weight. You would be comparing apples to oranges. People cannot control height, but people generally can control their weight. A short guy is NOT equivalent to a fat girl, and never will be. There is no workout regiment or diet which can make one tall, but there are for fat people. Short men aren't short because they refuse to work out, but many fat people are fat because of that.</p>

<p>I didn't know we do...I have no idea what idea you're referring to with 'real men'. As far as liking them as much as we say we do, well, I cant speak for others, but I certainly like them.</p>

<p>is it unfortunate that a short guy can't choose his height but a fat chick can put the donuts and chocolate away and go run somewhere? yeah, but it still doesn't change the fact that a lot of women prefer "TALL, dark, and handsome" and a lot of men prefer attractive women with nice bodies.</p>

<p>Women generally prefer attractive men. The ideal for men is tall, not fat or scrawny but with an athletic build without being overly muscular. throw in nice features, decent hair and you're all set. we expect men to be taller simply because on average, they're taller. we associate height with masculinity, just like being smaller, less hairy, and wearing makeup/heels/dresses are associated with femininity. that's your answer right there. </p>
<p>The ideal for women is I guess slightly tall, slender but with curves, big boobs (a C cup i guess), nice hair/features. I know it varies from guy to guy, but this is a decent generalization, i think. feel free to disagree, i'm a girl and this is what we would guess to be the ideal for us.</p>
