Can't find Chicago's common data set info anywhere, and it is supposed to be available to the public.

It is spread over two places.

Interesting read...
Does anyone know the status of the Library?

What about the library? And which one?

The Reg....and the expansion...is it done?

Oh, umm... Yeah, no clue.

I didn't even really know it was exanding.

An entire civilization could develop in the Reg - complete with infrastructure, mass culture, a seat in the UN - and you would never know, because it's that enormous. So honestly, a billion more volumes or whatever isn't going to make that much of a difference.

You can look at fb status or AIM away messages and see that 3/4 of the people you know are in the reg, and yet you'll still be surrounded by people you've never seen before in your life.

wow...how many floors?

5 floors.

The Reg stopped being 24 hours once they started expanding. My life would be so much easier if only the Reg were open 24 hours.

But you always see the same people in the Reg...it's bizarre. It got too awkward, so I just started staying in the cubicles.

It has 2 floors underground as well, doesn't it?

The A level is underground. I'm not sure about one below that. Maybe there's one for storage or something. The A level used to be the all night study area. Now it houses a whole lot of dissertations and the maclab. The all night study space is now at Crerar.

I'm pretty sure they're reopening the Reg all-night study area in 2010, though. I've heard that it was the social hub of the campus...
