<p>This may be a little nitpicky but on the Common App, Duke says limit your response to 1 to 2 paragraphs while on their website it says 1 to 3 paragraphs. Is it okay if my essay is 3 paragraphs or will they think that I can't edit? I don't know I'm probably just freaking out haha but how about how long is everyone elses? Thanks a lot</p>
<p>On the common app, it doesn't give you suggested length for the why duke essay. so mine is like 700 words because I had to say why I wanted to do engineering and why duke was a good match for me...I think as long as you are consice and still manage to say everything you want, then you will be fine. Good luck!</p>
<p>yeah I checked...mine's 630 words and I ahve one for why I want to do BME, one for why Duke is good (academics), and one for the activities I especially like at Duke</p>
