After people have came to a conclusion that I have a homoerotic relationship with Justin Bieber, I must clarify myself.

No, I just like his music and his voice.

Why do most girls hate on Miley Cyrus? I think it is the same case for the guys to hate on JB.
She is a talented singer, she does charity events, and yes, she is not that good at acting in Hannah Montana, but she is originally a singer!

If I say I hate Miley Cyrus, I hope no-one would seriously believe that I mean I hate her as a person. All I mean is that her singing makes me want to cut Mr. Happy off (in hope that the pain will block out the pain her singing causes me) and that I have no respect for her after her little routine at the Teen Choice Awards (I mean, come on, was the ice cream pole really necessary if she didn’t want to go all the way?).

I could be nitpicky and point out that “I think her singing is talented enough” would only be an SAT question in the find the grammatical errors bit in the Writing section but I will not purely deflect but actually answer your question.

Talent (at least if we are referring to musical or artistic talent) is an innate ability to preform that causes audiences to be amazed, wonderous or in awe. Miley Cyrus voice is auto-tuned to death and I feel no wonder in it, at best I feel sedated.

I dislike T-Pain’s music as well, I feel it is little more than a sedative… I listen to Dre but I prefer East Coast Rap. Especially Nas… Illmatic has some of the best lyrics ever.

And mileys music is AWESOME.
i sing party in usa and then i start rapping nuthin but a g thang…
or capital punishment… I am about to cry with joy as soon as i hear puns tongue twitsters in twinz- deep cover…

OP: do you like disney channel?? =P cause u seem like you would!

hmmm… the only disney star who i have respect for is demi lovato. [the annoying camp rock/smiley phase seems like its passed] i love her voice, and if u listen to her cd without taking into account that she is a disney star or w/e, she is actually really good.

i dont like her show though, it is painful to watch. [and I HATE STUDIO AUDIENCES. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO LAUGH SO LOUDLY? whenever something tiny happens that could be remotely funny, everyone BURSTS into laughter before you can even react. it takes out the classy-ness… lol sorry for that random rant]

I just don’t like how she claims to be so “holy” and “pure”, but she’s had some pretty sleazy photos of her leaked two (maybe three?) times. That was a while ago, so maybe she’s changed now. And I’m not a huge fan of her singing or acting. I’m not gonna lie though, I have Party in the USA on my iPod, and I listen to it all the time! :D

I don’t like her singing voice. It sounds very strained and it’s almost painful to listen to her sing because it makes my own throat hurt in empathy. But I WILL admit that I find a lot of her songs catchy so I do listen to some on occasion, which is contradictory to what I said but whatever.

I also do not think she’s a talented actress. I know she probably tried really hard in “The Last Song” but I just was not buying her character. She was either overly sincere or too contrived.

Well I don’t actually hate Miley Cyrus. I can waste my spiteful emotions on someone who actually matters to me. Plus her singing sucks so I never listen.
Just one thing though, Miley chose to claim her fame through Disney which means that until years after she has stopped working with Disney, she should be a good rolemodel for the younger generation. Taylor Momsen goes around dressing inappropriately and swearing in interviews but she’s not a rolemodel for younger girls, she’s on freaking Gossip Girl which is for a mature audience. If Momsen got the part of Hannah Montana she should not act the way she does now but she didn’t, so it doesn’t even matter.
But Miley Cyrus taking those photos in her underwear, making out with her ex-boyfriend and doing the Asian-eyes thing is what typical shallow teenagers do. She shouldn’t be a “typical shallow teenager” when she is someone who has been given her kind of opportunities.
