Why History @ Harvard?

What makes Harvard's history program better than the rest?

What unique opportunities or experiences does its program offer?

Why would I study history at Harvard over studying the subject at comparable universities?

Why attend Harvard?

I have an interview soon, thus why I'm asking. Just making sure I don't miss any reasons for the interview!!!!!

If you don’t know then why did you apply? O.o

That’s not for people here to answer. That’s something you should know before you apply. I didn’t apply to schools without knowing why I wanted to be there and what it had to offer me first. Maybe go do some research? And then speak from the heart as well. Why do YOU want to attend Harvard?

I’m not impressed…

Isn’t Yale supposed to have the best history program? I don’t know much about history programs, but last year’s val at our school won national awards in history and she didn’t even apply to Harvard. She said Harvard’s history department didn’t even compare to Yale’s.

I guess that doesn’t help OHKID, but… I have to agree with m4dskillz07.

According to U.S. News, the rankings are:

Princeton

Stanford

Berkeley

Yale

Harvard

Chicago

You probably can’t go wrong with any of those.

Why are **you **expecting us to do your research for you?

I mean seriously!
