You’d have to be insane not to have thoughts like that when turning down a school as good as Yale!

It’s 100% perfectly normal to feel weird after making a decision where there is no right choice, and valid arguments can be made for both sides. I’ve always felt a bit of a “grass is greener” feeling, myself - as soon as I’ve turned something down, it becomes more appealing.

Try to keep your thoughts positive - you were incredibly lucky to have two choices. And especially when it comes to these two schools, the differences between them are vastly outnumbered by the similarities (i.e. I happen to think Harvard’s libraries are pretty ****ing awesome).

There’s this tongue-in-cheek rivalry between the two that would lead one to think that they must be polar opposites. In fact, the undergraduate colleges are about as similar as any two schools in the U.S. could be. Maybe fraternal twins would be a decent analogy.

^ I wouldn’t go that far. There are vast differences in atmosphere that that have sprung about as a result of a number of factors.

I will concede however that no matter what you’re going to always wonder what if. But don’t let it get you down - it’s natural. Justforgetme is right.
