<p>You’re in the wrong forum (this is about the School of General Studies). Basically my understanding is that the Stats MA program is a money printing machine for the university. Meh classes, a few hundred students almost all international and paying full price. The school doesn’t want to kick them out or make them look bad, and the students want a visa and US degree. It’s a bit smarmy, but there you go…</p>
