Why are so many Americans applying to Canadian schools? (like McGill and UToronto?) What benefits do you see? Is it easier to get accepted? I’m Canadian and trying my hardest to go to an American school!

<p>I personally think McGill is awesome. There are very few places like it in the US. Montreal kicks ass. It's not insanely hard to get into, and it's cheap.</p>
<p>There are 2 kids at my school in NY that are applying to McGill, and probably more. I think they like it because it is an excellent school, Montreal is great, and it is really cheap compared to US schools.</p>

<p>Both my grandparents on my dads side are McGill class of '51.</p>
