Quick Bio: Average student freshman year but encountered family problems (forced to move out from parents home because of stress from them arguing, transferred schools, supported myself with after school job) during sophomore & junior year of high school. I realized my mistakes I made and had a strong upward trend senior year. Currently a fifth year senior, gpa has continued to rise. Maintained a 3.2 semester gpa since senior year but my cummulative gpa is barely 2.1. My admissions counselor's seemed understanding and said their school would most likely look past my gpa and focus on my semester grades upward trend, EC's and test scores. Currently attend a private tribal school. ACT 21 & SAT 1370. I'm also an enrolled tribal member. I'm considered OOS. I'm very nervous because almost all of these schools are very competitive for someone like me with less than average grades. Honest opinions would be appreciated!
