gaystraightalliance rocks..

GSA does rock

we also have a step team...never thought it was really that weird though.

I think Gay Straight Alliance is pretty weird for high school. What the **** do they do?

Well no one ever accused these anti-ROTC guys of being intelligent.

I've never heard someone accused of being smart!

But anyways, we have both a Young Democrats Club and a Young Republicans club. I'm actually a member of both (people don't like Independent, non-straight ticket voters). We too have a cheese club; they made really funny t-shirts last year that listed years they had one national championships...something like 4 BC, 1989, 1997, 1998, etc. We used to have an anime club. I think the funniest club we have is a gardening club.

Lots of schools have Gay-Straight Alliance, but I find that the "straight" part gets left out. I've been to a lot of GSA meetings at my school, and I'm lucky if ONE person shows up who isn't hideously annoying. The club seems to only attract ugly girls and hyperactive sophomores with bad hair. And forget male involvement altogether.

LAME.

But I digress.

noo..its not lame..i dont have one..i wish my school had one..but its cool columbia is starting to train high school students..to start their own GSA..kinda sucks that only ugly sophomore grlz in your school join it..anyway..im not gay and i want to join..def in college..

we have a Friends club. yea...it's supposed to help you make new friends or something...i dunno.

and there's also DIYF (Do it yourself fashion) which just started this year...i hear they were knitting stuff.

"The Voyeur"

A pretty cool club.

Gardening club doesn't sound so weird. It can be cool. Our school's gardening club created a roof garden. It's fun to climb out of the windows and traipse around the roof.

My school doesn't have any really weird clubs, but it does have like 1429452095 clubs doing the exact same thing.

Red Cross Club: "We help our school, the community, and the world!"
Students Helping Others: "We help our school, the community, and the world!"
Strong Women Club: "We help our school, the community, and the world!"
Grace (Christian Club): "We help our school, the community, and the world!"
Students Taking Action: "We help our school, the community, and the world!"
Volunteers United: "We help our school, the community, and the world!"
Helping Hands: "We help our school, the community, and the world!"

The list goes on and on. The individual clubs aren't weird, but it's mind boggling how much competition there is. The Red Cross Club can't even do the blood drive, that's already the SHO (Students Helping Others) stomping ground. There's this unofficial rivalry between them all.

I don't think GSA is really that weird, but perhaps that's because I'm living in Oregon...
My school has really big GSA club because Oregonians had just passed the constitutional amendment that bans gay marriage. Seems like a lot of students are serious, and nobody is talking about sophomores ugly hairs:) And it's not all about that measure, but also trying to create an environment where there's no descrimination (admit it, there are some people always make fun of gays) in the school. I'm not gay or bisexual, but I think it's a good thing.

But I gotta admit that there's few annoying people:) Yeah, they are really good thinkers, but they're just, you know, really "heated up". There are a lot of fake gothic kids too. But fortunately, we have normal kids so that's a good thing.

hahaha yea we have a buncha clubs that are supposed to help ppl too...

Some people at my school want to make a lumberjack club.

Oh yeah we have a pirates club.

You are either on the ninjas or pirates side.

Ahoy. Whatever happened to those chips ahoy commercials?

/end randomness

OASIS:language diversity Club/helping ESOL students

It's not weird; I founded it :)

But also we have.. horseback riding club... video game playing club... blah

GSA rocks. we don't really have one, but I founded students against discrimination, we probably cover the GSA part :)

I wish we had a "ninja club," that would be hilarious.

We have the Chardon High School Polka Band. It's not officially a highschool activity anymore, the principal fired them. However, they did just come out with a CD. It's a ton of fun, hardcore polka!!!

ha thats awesome! i cant wait til college when theres a lot more activities to chose from!

The Jedi Council. We would stage jedi fights in the kwod with light swords. We all devided up into light and dark jedis. We even got into the rally. I put this one down on my college app, hoping I would stand out hehe.

Next to that we have ultimate frisbee club, which is more like a sport than a club.

I'm guessing you're a member of the Jedi Council, shagpin.

And Quad is spelled quad. :P.

Divided is spelled divided.

You know, Jedi is an official religion in the UK. Or I think they're trying to make it, anyway.

lol woops kwod is the name of a local radio station. I was listening to it as I was typing, how is that for subliminal messeges?
