We had a ninja club for a while, and every Wednesday members would show up in black ninja attire. Then it was shut down because members wore plastic katanas strapped to their backs. What a shame, there were 9 members and 8 of them were Japanese (me being the only white kid).

We have a dodgeball club and a "drug free" club. I have no idea what the latter actually does at meetings.

Ninja club sounds fun! I think I'll propose that. Then again, I'm about as white female as you can get, so...

One of the most popular clubs at my school is the "Family Guy" club. I think it is stupid...all they do is watch family guy episodes and discuss them. It doesn't have anything to do with academics...

Dodgeball club sound sgood. I hate the fact that they banned it in schools and replaced it with something stupid because it "hurt some kids emotionally." Whimps.

Can they put that on apps?

We basically have no clubs, just a small handful, most of them just about anti-drugs, even though drugs are not prevelant in my area.

The most popular club at my school is badminton club. Some kids in my grade started it last month, and it already has something like 50 members--at a 250-student high school.

Another interesting one is Barbecue Club. Their slogan is "The best way to eat animals."

Dead Poet's Club.

Hmm... Nice Barbecue Club slogan. I think I'll join. :D

^I wanted to start a Vegetarian Club as a counter-movement, but I never got around to it.

Vegetarianism..ugh. (Unless its religious)

Junior, my school has a dodgeball competition, fully supported by the staff and faculty (some even go so far as to join student teams) so I guess that dodgeball ban doesn't apply to us...

Does anyone else have certamen???? I used to play until my parents told me I couldn't take latin anymore...:(

I don't want to start a debate about vegetarianism, because that's not what this thread is about, but... "ugh"? I don't condemn you for eating animal carcasses--what does it matter to you if I don't?

And now, let us return to our scheduled programming.

S.A.F.E.

A very unsafe place that intimidated others.

We don't have anything weird this year. In the past we have had club TADH (Tall And Devilishly Handsome), and Future Truck Drivers of America. Neither club was a serious one, as you can probably guess.

we want to start a poker club atmy school... the issue is that those of us who want to start it are sort of the gambling type, and well its against school policies...dumb handbook

Card club, anime club, paintball club, ping pong club....

A lot of people think the Gay-Straight Alliance is weird, but I disagree.

orchdorkbando theres a paintball club at my school too. The guys actually made a team and went to play in tournament in the US, i think it was in orlando, last year.

ya we have an anime club too... play super smash bros adn watch anime.
