Wierdest, stupidest questions.. but id appreciate your answers!

ive had these questions, but they all seem a little stupid…
but since im sending out my apps soon, i guess i better ask them:

do I staple my application? (ie. the paper common app)
i thought i read somewhere that i shouldnt staple them… but now i can’t remember where i read that… and cant find it.

where do I glue my photo?
if sending a photo is recommended, why isn’t there a box where i glue it on… i dont feel safe just adding it in my envelope… fear it may fall out

do i double space my personal essay?

do i staple my personal essay (two pages)?

that’s it for now… i’d reaaally like to thank anyone who is kind enough to answer them…

do I staple my application? (ie. the paper common app)
No, it's not allowed.

where do I glue my photo?
There is no box. No where on the application says they recommend one.

do i double space my personal essay?
No.

do i staple my personal essay (two pages)?
This I don't know. Probably not?

some apps have optional photos. why not use a paper clip?

It's better to paperclip everything to make it easy on the person in the admission office who'll have to make multiple copies of your application. Make sure that your name and other identifying info such as what you are applying to ("freshman admission", for example) is on each page.

I do suggest, however, that you glue your picture to the app if there's a space on the app for that.

Use short paragraphs for the essays for ease of reading.

Thank you so very much!
yes, paper clip! what a brilliant idea.. i hadnt thought of that
