I am a guidance counselor and I'm having a difficult time finding a good college for two areas of study. The one is Wildlife Conservation, and the other is Zoology. Any help would be great. Thanks.

University of Montana has a well-known Wildlife Biology program.

[Wildlife Biology Program - The University of Montana](Come Get Wild)

When you say “Zoology,” are you talking about the study of structure, function and classification of animals (which can be found in many university biology departments), or (based on your question about wildlife conservation) are you looking for programs in Zoo-keeping and exotic animal management?

If it is the latter, I know of two excellent programs. The EATM program at Moorpark College - America’s Teaching Zoo (Moorpark, CA) [America’s Teaching Zoo - Current Students - Moorpark College](http://www.moorparkcollege.edu/current_students/teaching_zoo/index.shtml) and Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo (Gainsville, FLA) [Teaching Zoo | Santa Fe Community College | Gainesville, FL](http://dept.sfcollege.edu/zoo/PROGINFO.HTM)

Both are community college programs that have pre-requisites. Some students apply to the programs after one year of college (completing the pre-requisites), do the two-year program, and then continue on for a B.S. at a 4-year college.

Wisconsin-Madison for both.
