Will a school like Stanford even consider you with a 3.5?

Ah, that explains people with 3.49s getting in whose trend is upwards (meaning likely a 3.75+ish the other two/two and a half years)

Stanford was the only one of 15 schools that declined DS, with 4.0 GPA (UW), val, natnl merit winner, 2200+ SAT, 33 ACT, very good EC’s (debate: event captain, state champ, nationals; hockey: 4 year varsity starter, 3 year all state team; president of photo club and philosophy club; active in several other clubs; state champ teams in several academic areas; and others that I’ve forgotten, I’m sure).

Good luck on your app with a 3.5, but I don’t have much hope for you. (sorry)

Well, Stanford is highly selective and usually only take the top 1% of every class across the nation so my answer would be no but still apply, maybe you’ll pull off an amazing app and that happens sometimes. Also, if you offer some kind of diverse background they will certainly consider you! Try to re-take some classes and boost the GPA! Focus on getting a near perfect SAT and ACT score and seem well-rounded!

So how does everyone know that Stanford takes out freshman year for sure?

can someone answer my question about Spanish please? :)
