<p>I was surprised that Notre Dame announced a 4.65% increase for tuition and R&B , and a budget increae of 5% for 2009=2010.</p>

<p>Is their financial situation much better than the other top private schools?</p>

<p>My son has been admitted EA there.</p>

<p>These 3.7 %--4.65% tuition, fee and r&b increases are huge in a zero inflationary environment.</p>

<p>Looks like nothing has changed in higher education.</p>
