Will being related to an iconic celebrety help me to get into Boston College?

If would be nice if I was but I am not.

White male from Connecticut

Applying for EA

3.75 unweighted GPA at public high school

15/190 class rank

All honors classes and 3 AP classes out of a possible 6 (Calc, US History, Spanish (4 on test))

I am currently taking a 'Principles of Chemistry I' at Wesleyan University every other day. Since I am in the top tenth, I was given the chance to apply for Wesleyan's high school scholar program and got into this chemistry class. Chemistry is my major, hopefully. I currently have a A-; however, BC probably won't see this as I am applying EA.

680/690/700 on SAT I

~45 hours of community service (very bad, I know)

Creator, former president, former vice-president, and current member of the Support Our Country Club.

Former treasurer and current president of the International Culture Club.

I just started a tutoring to help all students in district.

Played frosh basketball and football.

Perfect grade progression as well.

I am not going to be like everybody else on here in saying my essay is going to be great. It is just going to be an average college essay. I do however have an interesting story to tell in that up until the second grade I was in all special education classes.

My recs. like my essays are probably going to be your run of the mill recs.

Do you think I will get into...

BC
BU
Villanova
GWU
NYU

anybody?
10

in at bu and gwu
and probably villa
bc and nyu are reaches, spend a lot of time on your essays. you have to distance yourself...your ex-currecs are kind of meh and unrelated to your major.

chance me back please... http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/572875-ivies-ucs.html

All except for BC and NYU look good:

BC has SO many applicants, same as NYU, but you are definitely qualified for both schools, so best of luck!!!
