Will colleges take my past extracurriculars into consideration?

Hi. I’m a senior. Until this year, I was always very involved in extracurriculars and after school activities. I had a part time job as a cashier, was treasurer of my FCCLA chapter, active in Beta Club, was a soccer manager for both the girl’s and boy’s soccer teams, and played an instrument. I have recently moved to an area without public transit, so I had to quit my job. My mother works late hours, so there is no way she could take me to work. The manager positions for the sports teams are all taken. And I’m just an ordinary member in FCCLA. I would be surprised if I’m not in Beta Club as my grades are the same as they’ve always been: A’s with a few rogue B’s. I also joined FFA, but I’m an ordinary member there as well. I’m currently looking for community service projects related to my major of dietetics. I’m also in a special interest club. I was curious how severe my lack of extracurriculars would affect myself and my appeal to colleges. Also, suggestions as to how I could up my marketability to colleges, such as high SAT scores would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t think you have a “severe lack of extracurriculars” at all. Just make the best of what you have and you’ll be fine.
