I'm almost finished with many college apps on commonapp, and have yet to find one that lists SCEA as an option when applying, its always ED or EA or regular decision. I was wondering, do I need to research each of these to find out if they are SCEA or regular EA, or will it say SCEA on common app if they are?

It will say that it’s SCEA. Few schools use SCEA over EA or ED. Yale and Stanford are the only ones I know of off the top of my head

OK, not applying to either, so i guess im good. Thanks.

It’s called REA (Restrictive Early Action) with different rules at each of the three colleges that offer it: Yale, Stanford, Boston College. And yes, the Common App tells you all decision plans offered by each college on your My Colleges list.
