Will early action or regular decision give me more financial aid?

Right now, my highest ACT score is at a 31, but if I were to superstore my ACT, it would be a 34. Should I apply now for early action for the best financial aid, or will a 33/34 act give me more aid during regular decision? Also, since I’m thunking about Arizona State University I’m not too worried about being denied.

For many school, merit scholarships are only available to EA/ED applicants. However, if your application is not strong enough, you would not get merit aid anyway.
