I have some facial hair and I heard that it is a problem with some schools while others at the same time love it.

I'm so nervous right now.

Is this a joke? First of all, none of them would even know unless they interview you. Second, if you’re so worried… shave. Some people can’t grow facial hair even as seniors in high school, so they can’t count it against you. This is moot, though, as physical characteristics are not going to get you into college (except indirectly, by making you good at sports or the like).

Pro, especially when pruned into a chinstrap.

Thank you so much javalava for your comment. I have a chin strap you just relieved so much stress.

honestly, i think this might be a big joke but heres what i think.

I’m one of those seniors that can grow a beard in about 2 weeks or so but i choose not to. At this age it doesnt look that professional to have a chinstrap and plus ive always despised them, if you must, then keep a nice clean beard. If you go into an interview for anything chances are, with a wild goatee or mutton chops and nowadays, chin straps, you’ll be thought of as an outlandish candidate.

Your very welcome ivyleague324. Remember college is a match to be made. If they reject you for superior beardstyle, then u wouldnt have been happy there anyway.

I just had an interview with my dream college and when I got there the guy pretty much said ■■■■ you look terrible with that chin strap. Your obviously not taking this seriously and left.

I guess it was a con :(
